Hi, I’m Nicole Gabai, a professional organizer, author, artist and a Certified Virtual Organizing Professional™ with over two decades of hands-on organizing experience. My focus is to help you move from feeling stuck, discouraged, overwhelmed or afraid of change to a place of feeling happier and more productive so you can move on with your life! I offer in-person sessions as well as virtual organizing. I am one of only 100 people in the world to earn a Virtual Organizing Certification.
Through virtual organizing, I can assist you with organizing your office or anywhere in your home, including creating the perfect closet as if I were sitting right there next to you. The process is done on ZOOM or FaceTime, one on one in real time. Each virtual session is 1 hour to 1 ½ hours long and we meet once or twice a week. The in-person sessions are longer, with a 3 hour minimum.
In either process, I help you to create customized solutions for all areas of your life and find systems that work specifically for you. You will soon realize that becoming organized gives you renewed energy and excitement about your life. Being organized is essential for success and order is essential for a happy life. Growing up in a very disorganized home, I know first-hand the challenges, frustrations and impact these have on our lives. At the age of seven I began creating organized spaces while attending a Montessori school in Paris, France. Later in life organizing became my passion! Before launching my organizing business in 1999, I worked in the fast-paced world of TV production and later I became a model and an actress in New York City. I quickly realized that creating sustainable organizing systems was the key to success. I understand how freeing it is when my surroundings are organized, and I have dependable systems in place. Creating order out of chaos has been my passion ever since! I have dedicated my life’s work to creatively helping people gain the skills they need to have a well-organized workplace and home.
I am a Golden Circle member of NAPO (National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals) as well as a past historian of the South Florida chapter. I’m also the author of the bestseller The Art of Organizing: An Artful Guide to an Organized Life, a colorful, engaging, and informative book that walks readers through the unique organizing process I’ve used to help hundreds of clients bring a sense of order and balance into their lives. My approach sets me apart from other organizing professionals, and my method was dubbed “ingenious” by The Kitchn.
Prior to founding B. Organized, I served in various jobs in TV production at renowned networks like MTV, Nickelodeon, the Orlando Film Commission, and MacGuffin Films in New York City. I attended Parsons School of Design and received a BFA in Textile Design & Styling from the Fashion Institute of Technology, and worked as a textile designer in New York City for several years.
I have been featured in prestigious publications such as Martha Stewart, Southern Living, AARP, Real Simple, US News & World Report, Forbes, Boston 25 News, and more.
